15. Do you believe Jesus and Satan were once brothers? One of the beliefs of Mormonism kept well-hidden from non-Mormons is the notion that Jesus and Satan started as brothers. According to the Mormons, Jesus behaved well and turned into god while the Satan behaved badly and turned into ... Satan. Mormonism also teaches that good conduct in this life will enable today's Mormons to turn into god someday, just like Jesus a generation ago. A belief system that teaches Jesus - the pure and holy Creator - to be the brother of Satan - the evil and sinful creature - is a lie that blasphemes Jesus. And the dangerous heresy that a creature can become the Creator is precisely what turned Lucifer, the angel of light, into Satan and is therefore Satanic. Anyone who claims to know Christ yet believes in a brotherhood between Jesus and the devil does not know Jesus of the Bible and blasphemes Him.
