Jesus and Satan Brothers?

Jesus and Satan Brothers?

"What evidence do you have that the Mormon Jesus and Satan are brothers?"

Jesus and Satan Brothers?A greater blasphemy hardly seems plausible than the abominable lie that Jesus and Satan are brothers, yet while Mormon public relations people coyly deny that the Mormon Jesus and Satan are brothers, the Mormon Cult does teach that Jesus and Satan are brothers.

The evidences for the Mormon belief that Jesus and Satan are brothers come directly from the teachings of Mormon 'prophets' and are presented below (note that Satan is also known as "Lucifer" and the Mormons also call Jesus, "Jehovah"):

"Jesus is the literal spirit-brother of Lucifer, a creation." (Gospel Through the Ages, p.15)

"Long before you were born a program was developed by your creators... The principal personalities in this great drama were a Father Elohim, perfect in wisdom, judgment, and person, and two sons, Lucifer and Jehovah." (Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, pp.32-33)

"The appointment of Jesus to be the Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer, son of the morning. Haughty, ambitious, and covetous of power and glory, this sprit-filled brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of mankind." (Milton R. Hunter, Gospel Through the Ages, p.15)

"In the wilderness of Judaea, on the temple's pinnacles and on the high mountain, a momentous contest took place between two brothers, Jehovah and Lucifer, sons of Elohim." (Spencer W. Kimball, Conference Report, April 1964, p.95)

Jesus is our perfectly Holy Creator, while Satan is the perfectly evil creature. How can they be brothers?

According to Mormonism, they were created as brothers: Jesus was the older brother and Satan was the younger brother. Mormonism teaches that Jesus and Satan had competing plans. God the Father sided with Jesus, who performed well and turned into a god, while Satan refused to go along and became their enemy.

Mormonism also teaches that God used to be a man (see Mormon Cult), that man can become God , and that salvation requires the "consent" of Joseph Smith (see Joseph Smith False Prophet). Mormons do their good deeds not to honor God but to turn into a god.

The lie that a creature can become the Creator is what turned an angel into Satan and is therefore Satanic. Anyone who claims to be a Christian yet believes in and teaches this Satanic lie is a wolf in sheep's clothing and a member of what can only be described as a Satanic cult.
