America. The number of pornographic emails sent daily is 4.5 per
internet user. 46% of the visitors to pornographic internet sites are men
and women in marriage.
90% of 8-16 year old have viewed pornography on the internet, and the
average age for first exposure to internet pornography is
11 years old.
Just as smoking destroys our health, pornography, including on
the internet is
destroying marriage
s, the minds and souls of Americans, both those in marriage and out of
marriage, corrupting our
children and fanning untold numbers of sexual crimes, including against
children.
Individual responsibilities abound, but given the accelerating growth of
(inter
net) pornographers, it is time to push our government to confront the US porn industry, whose
annual revenues of
$13 billion now exceed the annual revenues of NBA, NFL and MLB
combined.
